Welcome to my website!

I have practiced clinical psychology, therapy and counselling  full-time for 20 years in the area of adult mental health. Work settings have included community and hospital based adult mental health services, tertiary education counselling, and private practice.

I am registered as a Clinical Psychologist under the Psychologists Act, and have undergone 8 years university education, including 3 years in the Clinical Psychology training programme. I am accountable to the New Zealand Psychology Board and am a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society.

I have been trained in assessing clinical conditions, and specialise in helping individuals learn psychological strategies to manage their psychiatric and emotional problems. I have expertise in the areas of depression, stress and anxiety, life changes, trauma including sexual abuse, anger, personality, self-identity and relationships.

As a psychologist, I can work with you in the way that suits you best, whether it be through therapy, counselling, coaching with planning and carrying out goals or treatment to help you improve your mental health and live a happy and fulfilling life.
